On September 13, 2022, the Minsk City Court heard Andrei Mochalov’s appeal against the verdict by which he was found guilty of “using a deliberately forged document” under part 1 of Article 380 of the Criminal Code and sentenced to the strictest possible punishment under this article, which is restriction of freedom with referral to an open-type correctional institution for 2 years.
The appellate court has left the verdict unchanged, and the complaint without satisfaction.
