The attorney was detained on August 31; the protocol was drawn up under Article 24.3 of the Administrative Code (disobeying a law enforcement officer). At the trial, a witness was interrogated in the face of a policeman who couldn’t get his story straight.
As a result, Vladimir was found guilty of disobeying a law enforcement officer and arrested for 14 days.
Vladimir Angelsky is a Minsk Regional Bar Association lawyer. He was a partner of the law firm Braginets and Partners, and defended Vitaly Braginets, who, in turn, had defended Andrei Mochalov. The latter was accused of forgery of documents. At the moment, Andrei Mochalov is sentenced to two years’ restricted freedom, Vitaly Braginets is in pre-trial detention, and Vladimir Angelsky is in the Okrestina detention center.
