As became known to human rights activists, attorney Anastasia Lazarenko will be put on trial on 2 May. We remind that she was detained on June 2, two days after her 40th birthday. First, a criminal case was initiated against her under Part 3 of Article 130 of the Criminal Code for "communicating data of law enforcement agents and judges to Telegram channels." Later she was also accused under Art. 203-1 of the Criminal Code (illegal actions with information concerning private life) and Part 1 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code (organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order). According to the investigation, the attorney allegedly organized an "unauthorized mass event" when she consulted individuals near the Okrestina temporary detention center in August 2020.
