Our Telegram Channel Added to Extremist Materials in Belarus

Our Telegram channel has been designated as extremist material in Belarus. This means that subscribing to it may incur liability.

The same fate has befallen the Telegram Channel of the Belarusian Association of Human Rights Lawyers.

Dissemination, storage, production, or transportation of "extremist materials" leads to administrative liability under Article 19.11 of the Administrative Code.

"Dissemination of materials" currently includes:

· Forwarding our posts in group chats and personal messages

· Embedding hyperlinks to our posts in your publications

· Reposting on social media

"Storage of materials" currently includes:

· Subscribing to our Telegram channel

· Having screenshots of our channel’s publications in your device’s gallery

· Having our materials cached on your device

Currently, reading our channel without subscribing seems to be non-punishable. Therefore, please, regularly clear your search and visit history if you continue to read us through Telegram's search.

When accessing our resources, use a VPN and incognito mode in your browser to avoid saving queries and establishing specific recommendation algorithms. If possible, delete all reposts of our publications from your pages, personal messages with links to us, and hyperlinks to us in your publications and works. Also, delete screenshots of our publications from albums and galleries on your devices, as well as from the trash and cloud storage trash bins.
